Simply Smiles Founder To Speak At Westport Sunrise Rotary Breakfast

Simply Smiles Inc. is a not-for-profit organization "providing bright futures for impoverished children, their families, and their communities in both Oaxaca, Mexico and South Dakota," representatives said. Nurnberger will talk about "The Lakota People: An Untold Story" at the meeting at 7:30 a.m. at Bobby Q’s, 42 Main St. in Westport.  Nurnberger’s topic is the Simply Smiles’ programs on the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe Reservation in South Dakota.

"Simply Smiles offers a personal and holistic approach for providing food, clothing, shelter, medical care, education, infrastructure, jobs, pride, dignity, hope, and solutions," representatives said. "Founded in 2003, the organization has 3,000 volunteers, including hundreds from Connecticut."

Westport Sunrise Rotary supports charitable programs locally and internationally.
