WESTPORT, Conn. -- The Connecticut Department of Transportation asks residents to use caution and seek alternate routes, allowing for extra time during the following road resurfacing projects in Westport.
Milling began Tuesday at midnight and will continue to Friday monring, June 24 on Route 57.
Paving of Route 33 (Wilton Road) to the overlap of Route 136 (Main Street) will be done Monday, July 11 to Wednesday, July 14.
The area currently under construction at North Compo Road, Route 57 and Clinton Avenue is not included in the paving project.
Adjustments to the proposed schedule will be necessary in the event of inclement weather, the DOT said.
Efforts to provide updates will be made if the schedule changes, said the DOT.
