REDDING, Conn. -- Redding's Mark Twain Public Library is preparing for its December art show fund-raiser.
The library's annual Art Show fund-raiser is set to run from Friday, Dec. 6 to Sunday, Dec. 15, at the Mark Twain Public Library, 439 Redding Hill Road in Redding.
"Take inspired works of art; a Library magically transformed into a sparkling, vibrant gallery; add infectious community enthusiasm. Put it all together and the result is the Library's Annual Art Show fundraiser," said library representatives.
The gallery is set to open with a Champagne Preview Gala at 7 p.m., Dec. 6. Residents can browse the library turned gallery, get first looks at the art work and visit the silent auction for a chance to bid on art work donated by the artists. Space for the gala is limited and residents are asked to RSVP by Friday, Nov. 29. Tickets will be sold after this date if space if available.
The deadline for submitting art work for the show is Wednesday, Nov. 27. Artists are asked to complete the entry form on the library's website .
The show is open to the public and all art work is for sale.
