Pro To Teach Photo Portraiture

Lifestyle photographer Alison Wachstein will show Weston residents how to take professional-quality portraits at a meeting of the Weston Women's League Tuesday.

Wachstein will discuss photographing your children and pets so that the finished product can be displayed in your home or used as holiday gifts.

Wachstein has more than 30 years' experience working as a photojournalist and lifestyle photographer in Colorado, New Jersey and Weston and has won numerous awards. She has taught photography at Seton Hall, Fairleigh Dickinson and Fairfield Universities.

Anyone interested in learning the art of portrait photography should come to the Norfield Parish Hall at 7:30 p.m. Wachstein's presentation will follow a general meeting. The free session is open to the public and those who have cameras should bring them.
