Phyllis Feeney, 89, Longtime Westport Resident

WESTPORT, Conn. – Phyllis A. Feeney of Westport died May 19 at home with her children and grandchildren at her bedside. She was 89. 

Born June 23, 1922, she was the daughter of Allyn and Mildred Ostrander Goulden. A lifelong resident of Norwalk and Westport, she was married to James Feeney for 69 years, until his death on Jan. 9, 2011. They owned P & J Decorating Co., a plastics decorating company located in South Norwalk. 

She is survived by a son, David; a daughter, Martha (Mark) Harris; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. 

A memorial service will be held at the end of June. Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home in Norwalk is in charge of arrangements.
