WESTPORT, Conn. -- Westport residents came from every corner of town on a bright and sunny Monday morning to claim a spot along the sidewalk for the annual Memorial Day Parade.
The crowds were spread from Saugatuck Elementary School on Riverside Avenue to the Parker Harding Plaza.
This year’s theme was remembering Prisoners of War and Missing in Action (POW/MIA). The marchers included veterans, officials, marching bands, kids, cheerleaders, floats and a variety of vehicles.
