WESTPORT, Conn. — Four new members have been elected to the Westport Library Board of Trustees for the fiscal year 2016-17.
The new members are Iain Bruce, Celestine LaCroix, Robert Haroun and Margaret Mudd.
Mudd spent 18 years in international banking in New York, holding a range of positions at Manufacturers Hanover Trust and Chemical Bank. She was a relationship manager for clients in Eastern Europe, the Eastern Mediterranean and Russia and a sovereign debt restructuring specialist.
Her last banking position was as Managing Director and Head of the East Europe and former Soviet Union Group at Chemical.
She was a project consultant to the International Monetary Fund and the first Managing Director at the Financial Services Volunteer Corps.
She has been an ardent community volunteer for many Westport community organizations and has served two previous terms as a trustee of the Westport Library. She graduated from Manhattanville College and the PMD program at Harvard Business School.
