That’s the day hundreds of motorcyclists are expected to make a scenic 50-mile loop through several communities to support efforts to end child abuse in Connecticut.

The annual Ride Against Children Abuse (RACA) is presented by the CT United Ride in partnership with the Bridgeport-base Center for Family Justice, which supports families in Bridgeport, Easton, Fairfield, Monroe, Stratford and Trumbull.

The ride begins at 9:30 a.m. at the center’s headquarters on Fairfield Avenue and makes stops at Redding Fire House and Monroe and Trumbull town halls before pulling into The German Club, Horace Street, Bridgeport.

“The ride is a perfect way for the motorcycle community to come out and show their support for The Center for Family Justice, which supports victims of child abuse on a daily basis,” said Fred Garrity, Jr., RACA’s chairperson.
