Live Music, Auction Highlight Fundraiser For Wakeman Boys & Girls Clubs

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- An auction to benefit the Wakeman Boys & Girls Club in Fairfield will be held Saturday, March 11 at Fairfield Theatre Company.

This "Great Futures Benefit Auction" presented by EMCOR will raise money for the clubhouses in Fairfield and Bridgeport and the club's outreach programs at McKinley School and Claytor Academy in Bridgeport, and its 150 youth programs.

Guests will enjoy beverages and food catered by On The Marc Events and may select from silent auction items that range from golf outings and jewelry to vacations and parties. 

Music will be provided by FloodZone of Fairfield.

Guests will also hear directly from some of the youth that are supported by the club's programs.

"We are happy to say we have many community donors, guests, and generous sponsors," said Christine Cutler, event co-chair.

Sponsors are EMCOR Group Inc., People’s United Bank, Turner Construction, and TownVibe.

"Our entire event committee understands that the Great Futures Benefit Auction would not happen without their help and great support of Wakeman Boys & Girls Club.”

The event from 6:30 to 11 p.m. will be at the theatre, 70 Sanford St., Fairfield.
