It's that time of year again 3,000 rubber ducks are set to race in Westport's Saugatuck River on Saturday during the Great Duck Race.
During the race, organized by the Westport Sunrise Rotary, each duck is assigned to a corresponding raffle ticket number. Ticket holders of the first 10 ducks to cross the finish line win a prize.
The annual race serves as a fundraiser for local and international charities supported by the Rotary. The family event begins at 10 a.m. at Parker Harding plaza with games, arts and crafts, food, drinks and music. The duck race is set for noon. The event will run until 1 p.m. For more information, visit the official race website .
