Dan Gilbert is a tireless volunteer and advocate for others. As a fellow Kiwanis member, he helps split wood supporting the Warm Up Fund, collects food for the food pantry, and serves meals to Weston Seniors monthly at Norfield Church as well as the hungry at the Emergency Shelter in South Norwalk. Dan is a Medical Reserve Corps volunteer with the Westport Weston Health District. He works on AmeriCares projects annually, helping to refurbish homes for those in need. He is a Eucharistic minister at St. Francis and former 1st lieutenant leading 150 men as artillery firing battery commander, U.S. Army.
