Learn About Genetically Modified Food in Westport

WESTPORT, Conn. – Are you and your family eating genetically modified foods? Find out during a special presentation this Friday at Earthplace, Westport’s nature discovery center.

The presentation, “Genetically Modified Food: What Your Family Needs to Know,” will be led by Westport nutritionist and lifestyle fitness coach Geri Zatcoff. Zatcoff will provide an overview of what genetically modified foods are, how they can be potentially harmful and how to determine whether they are dangerous for you and your family.

A question-and-answer session will follow the presentation. The evening will also include appetizers and wine donated by local businesses, including the Dressing Room, LL Market, Du Soleil, Black Bear Wine and Spirits, and Health in a Hurry.
