REDDING, Conn. -- A new downloadable e-book for the Amazon Kindle is now available with all proceeds benefiting a five-year-old Redding boy who suffered a brain injury in November of 2012.
In "Will Robby Get Better Again? Learning About Brain Injury," Fred the dog answers the questions his young owner has about her friend Robby's brain injury.
Robby Klimaytis of Redding accidentally became pinned underneath a tree stump and went into cardiac arrest on Nov. 5, 2012. Redding fire crews and Danbury paramedics helped resuscitate the boy.
Robby was diagnosed with an anoxic brain injury due to his prolonged time without oxygen. He will need 24-hour home care for the rest of his life.
The e-book costs $5 on the Kindle with $2 for each book sold going to support the Klimaytis family and $1 going to the Brain Injury Association of Canada.
