WESTPORT, Conn. -- Happy Birthday To Westport’s Patricia Kathryn Kalember!

Patricia Kalember, who has owned a home in Westport, turns 56 on Monday. The actress was born Dec. 30, 1957, in Schenectady, N.Y.

She is best known for her role as Georgiana "Georgie" Reed Whitsig on the NBC drama "Sisters" (1991–1996) and as Susannah Hart Shepherd on the popular 1980s television show "thirtysomething" (1989–1991).

She starred in the movies "Cat's Eye" (1985), "Little Girl Lost" (1988), "Fletch Lives" (1989), "Jacob's Ladder" (1990), "Big Girls Don't Cry ... They Get Even" (1992) and "A Far Off Place" (1993).

She was nominated for Outer Critics Circle Award for her performance in the play "The Foreigner" in 1986.

From 2002 to 2011, she had roles in the movies "A Time for Dancing," "Signs," "The Girl in the Park," "The Company Men," "Rabbit Hole" and "Limitless."

From 2004 to 2010, she had a recurring role as Judge Taten on the NBC series "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit."

In 2011, she appeared in two episodes of television series "Blue Bloods."
