WESTPORT, Conn. -- The Connecticut Humane Society is hosting a public rabies vaccination clinic for dogs and cats on Saturday, Oct. 25, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Compo Beach parking lot in Westport.
The clinic is free, and shots are valid for one year. The vaccine will be valid for three years for owners who present a valid rabies certificate.
All dogs must be on a leash, and all cats must be in carriers. CHS reserves the right to refuse aggressive, pregnant or sick animals.
