Halloween is almost here and to make sure it's an especially spooktacular holiday, Earthplace hosted a pumpkin-carving party. Many Halloween lovers, like 3-year-old Alex Esser, got to paint or carve their own Jack O' Lanterns.
Kids and their families created spooky, kooky or cute pumpkins, and Earthplace made it easy by providing the smocks, tools, patterns, paint and decorations. Families had to bring only their own pumpkins and candles. Plenty of apple cider and cookies were served to get the creative juices flowing.
Also in preparation for Halloween, Earthplace is hosting its annual Yuck Day on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in which kids get to see and touch if they dare some creepy creatures.
