WESTPORT, Conn. -- Ed Davies, executive director of Isaiah 61:1 Inc., is set to speak about reducing prison populations during Westport's Sunrise Rotary breakfast.
Davies is set to present "Reducing Prison Populations Is good For the Economy" at 7:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 10. at Bobby Q's at 42 Main St. in Westport. There is a $12 fee for the meeting, which includes a breakfast buffet.
"Davies, who has an extensive career in the Connecticut criminal justice system, has served since 2000 as executive director of Isaiah 61:1, Inc. in Bridgeport," a press release said. "Overseeing residential community justice programs for men and women being released from prison, Davies is committed to helping former inmates lead fulfilling and productive lives within the community."
Davies, of Milford, is a past president of the Rotary Club of Bridgeport.
