EASTON, Conn. -- Ryan Thompson, 4, rode down a water slide feet first into a small pool on Tuesday. He and his twin brother had just finished Pee Wee Party Camp at Toth Park when they decided to cool off on the slide.
Monday was the first day of camp, and there are five one-week sessions. The camp is offered for 3 and 4-year-olds and runs from 9:15 to 11:45 a.m.
Tuesday afternoon was hot with a high near 92, according to the National Weather Service. Tuesday night will cool down with a low around 66, and Wednesday is expected to be mostly sunny with a high near 87.
