WESTPORT, Conn. Tails will be wagging across Westport and surrounding towns this week as the Best Friends Pet Care Treat Truck for Dogs tours Fairfield County, handing out free biscuits and ice cream.
The colorful, doggie-decorated truck will be spotted in the area beginning Wednesday, making scheduled stops at various Fairfield County dog parks, including Westports Winslow Park, through Monday.
At each stop, staff will give out canine ice cream and cookies for pups, and healthy treats for their human companions. Other treats like tennis balls, paw towels and paw-shaped bag clips will also be handed out.
The treat truck will be at Winslow Park Thursday and Sunday. It will also visit Fairfield, Norwalk and Stamford.
