Connecticut Audubon Society To Host Climate Change Talk In Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Connecticut Audubon Society will holds its annual meeting of members with a keynote speech from Dr. Anthony Leiserowitz of Yale University on Thursday, Sept. 12, at 7 p.m.

The meeting and speech will be held at the Pequot Library in Southport.

Leiserowitz is director of the Yale Project on Climate Change Communication and a research scientist at the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Science.

A frequent lecturer and TV guest, he will talk about the ways in which our perceptions of climate change influence our communications about the subject and therefore influence our behavior.

The meeting is free and open to the public
