Westport's Saugatuck Sweets Sells Thanksgiving Pies To Support Al's Angels

WESTPORT, Conn. -- A portion of the sales of holiday pies from Saugatuck Sweets and Great Cakes in Westport will support Al Angel's, a charity founded by shop owner Al DiGuido.

Pie flavors include: apple crumb, blueberry crumb, pecan pie, lemon meringue mincemeat, cherry crumb, key lime and pumpkin pie. Apple, blueberry and cherry pies are also available with regular crust.

Pies are 10 inches, and cost $23.95. All orders must be placed by Friday, Nov. 20. 

Pie pickup is at Saugatuck Sweets, on Nov. 24 and Nov. 25, from noon to 7 p.m.

A total of $2 from every pie sold will support the work of Al's Angels this holiday season. The mission of Al’s Angels is to provide moments of joy and comfort to families who are challenged by childhood cancer, rare blood diseases, AIDS, domestic violence and financial hardship. For more information, on Al's Angels, click here.
