Where once folks cringed at the thought of raw fish, now they crave it with Fairfield County diners putting spicy salmon rolls and yellowtail scallion high on their list of “must haves.”
We asked – and you answered – giving us five of your favorite sushi restaurants. Grab your chopsticks and read below; each eatery is being profiled this week with the winner announced at the end of the month.

What Makes It Good: The diverse menu of Pan Asian, Chinese, and Thai dishes along with the top-rated sushi. Among the popular entrees: the Summer roll, made with shrimp, crab, cucumber, and avocado, served with a honey-mayo dip.
Diners Like: The Chinese version of surf and turf. Pork dumplings in balsamic vinegar and shiitake mushroom sauce. Lemon grass soup. Spicy tuna roll. Orange-glazed duck. Calamari salad. Tempura rolls.
Worth Special Mention: Kick back in the postmodern lounge and listen to jazz music. The chain has other locations in Stamford, Greenwich, and Milford.
