Taking Extra Vitamins Increases Risk of Cancer, Heart Disease, Study Says

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- A recent study suggests that taking more than the daily recommended doses of vitamins may have an adverse impact and could lead to potentially deadly diseases, according to Tech Times.

Researches studied thousands of patients over a 10-year period and found that taking too much of a vitamin supplement could lead to heart disease or cancer, Tech Times said. 

Researchers were quick to point out that taking multi-vitamins in the correct doses is still beneficial, but also said there is no substitute for healthy eating, Tech Times reported.
