Andre Kreft, the self-taught baker and confectioner behind Savor Cookies, has partnered with local realtor and Farmers Market enthusiast, Doris Ghitelman to create a tribute cookie: The Doris Day. The tasty treat was inspired by two great women, according to Chef Kreft.
What better place to roll out the cookie than the Westport Farmers Market? Proceeds from the Doris Day cookie will go to the Ali Forney Center, a non-profit housing program for homeless young people in New York City. Look for the Savor Cookie booth in the middle of the Westport Farmers' Market this Thursday, July 28.
