ARY Digital USA will be filming a scene Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. on the Route 136 bridge over the Saugatuck River, according to a statement.
The bridge will be open to traffic, company officials say, as they film a vehicle traveling over the bridge. But “motorists may encounter short periods of traffic congestion and should expect delays in the immediate area of Bridge Street,” the representatives said.
The film, “Dobara Phir Se” is directed by well-known Pakistani filmmaker Mehreen Jabbar, according to hipinpakistan.com.
“Film shoot of Dobara Phir Se starts in 3 days in New York…Nervous. Excited. Psyched,” Jabbar tweeted Aug. 18.
The film is “a story about love, friendships, and growing up,” according to the website.
The movie is expected to be released at the beginning of 2016, according to the website.
Film crews have not set up as of 1:30 p.m., though they are expecting to film later in the day.
