The restaurant opened in August last year and features products that are mostly locally grown, The Times said.
Reviewer Patricia Brooks was drawn first to the warm atmosphere of the eatery then to the menu which includes peekytoe crab Rangoon in a ginger-carrot dressing and albacore tuna.
Kawa Ni is located at 19A Bridge Square in Westport and is open for lunch Wednesday through Saturday at noon. The dinner menu is available Wednesday through Sunday at 4 p.m.
