WESTPORT, Conn. -- More than 50 million Americans suffer from seasonal allergies each year, yet many doctors warn against the chronic use of medication.
Naturopathic physician Jason Barker will discuss natural solutions for minimizing allergy symptoms on Wednesday, March 9, at 6 p.m. in the Westport Library’s McManus Room. The program is free and open to the public.
The program will include a discussion about the different types of allergies, symptoms and allergy testing. The focus will be on how to use natural solutions to minimize allergies and reduce allergens in the home and office.
Barker is a naturopathic physician practicing in Westport who specializes in pediatric special needs care and gastroenterology. He is a graduate of Bastyr University School of Naturopathic Medicine in Seattle. He utilizes homeopathic, herbal and nutritional medicine to help patients restore their health.
