Michael Douglas, Diane Keaton Visit Southport For Film Shoot

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Actors Michael Douglas and Diane Keaton are in Fairfield this week, filming a movie in the Southport section of town.

The film, titled “And So It Goes,” is being directed by Rob Reiner. In the movie, “The life of an ego-centric man is turned upside-down when he's introduced to the granddaughter he didn't know he had,” according to the film’s IMDB page.

Some streets in Southport near Harbor Road and Main Street were closed to traffic due to the filming Thursday. Douglas filmed at least one scene in the office of Nicholas Fingelly Real Estate in Southport, according to a photo tweeted by the Southport Globe.

Douglas has a home in nearby Bedford, N.Y.

The movie is also slated to film in Greenwich soon, the Connecticut Film Office website says.
