WESTPORT, Conn. – Some of Westport’s most popular eateries will be under one roof Thursday night, serving up samples of their fare during the ninth-annual Taste of Westport fundraiser.
Bobby Q’s, Matsu Sushi, Blue Lemon, DaPietro’s, Moja, Rive Bistro, Aux Delices, Pane e Bene, and the Red Hen are only some of the restaurants participating in the event, which raises funds for CLASP Homes, a Westport-based nonprofit that serves adults with autism and other developmental disabilities.
Taste-goers will be able to pair their food with samples of Connecticut-made Onyx Moonshine, Herradura Blanco tequila, Beaver Beer, and a variety of wines from Greens Farms Spirits and Black Bear Wines.
There will also be sweet treats from Michele’s Pies and cappuccino from Greenwich Staffing.
Outside of food, guests can bid on a number of silent auction items, including an Eli Manning autographed Super Bowl XLVI football; a youth clinic with Curtis Granderson at Yankee Stadium; a Swatch watch; tickets to The Late Show with David Letterman; tickets to sporting events; a selection of premium wines; jewelry and an array of personal products and services.
Taste tickets are $75 in advance and $80 at the door. All proceeds will benefit CLASP Homes. Tickets can be purchased online , by calling 203-226-7895 ext. 144 or in person at CLASP Homes, 246 Post Road E.
Taste of Westport will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. at Westport Inn, 1595 Post Road E.
