"I would like to change," Valentin said with a laugh. "Whenever there is an update, I like to change."

She was speaking Tuesday in front of the Apple Store on Greenwich Avenue shortly after the unveiling of the new iWatch and the larger iPhones.

Apple CEO Tim Cook introduced the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus at a live event at 1 p.m. from the Flint Center for the Performing Arts in Cupertino, Calif.

The iPhone 6 Plus is 5.5 inches and the iPhone 6 is 4.7 inches, compared with the iPhone 5S size of 4 inches. The phones are also thinner, a measly 6.9 millimeters for the iPhone 6 and a fractionally thicker 7.1 millimeters for the iPhone 6 Plus.

A few customers gathered in the Greenwich Avenue store Tuesday, with a couple of them joining staff in front of a monitor to watch the conference with Apple's head honchos.

Apple staff members said they couldn't speak to the media.

The new iPhones are iWatches are not available for sale yet in the Apple stores. The iWatch will be on sale early next year, while the iPhone 6 will be released Sept. 19.

Valentin said she's a devoted Apple fan and praises the products for being easy to use.

"It is just so easy. It's easy to learn. You don't have to be 100 percent computer savvy," she said.

The larger phones won't be a drawback, Valentin said, noting that for women, they can simply be put it in a purse or bag. She believes the larger screen more than compensates for the larger size.

Although Valentin is excited about the new iPhones, another woman who was walking out of the Apple store said she wouldn't be getting one. Instead. she's sticking with her tried and true older nonsmart phone.

"To me it doesn't mean anything," she laughed. "I don't have to have the world in my hand."

The Greenwich resident who would only give her first name of Nat said she buys her minutes once per year from T-Mobile on her phone.

She does love her iPad and said it does everything that she needs.

One reason Valentin has been an iPhone customer - and Apple fan - since the first launch seven years ago is due to the technical support she receives at the store.

"You feel like you have the dumbest question and they look at you and help you right there on the spot."

Valentin said she's an Apple fanatic.

"I won't switch. I am an Apple girl all the way," she said with a laugh.
