It’s got a date with the wrecking ball.
The former home of Mohican Valley Concrete Company’s offices, the one-story building has long been vacant and repeatedly vandalized over the years.
The town has declared it blight and a public hazard because the roof is caving in and the floor boards are rotted and in danger of collapse.
A community development block grant will cover costs for the Conservation Department to oversee the project, which is out to bid, according to Mark Barnhart, director of community and economic development.
Work is expected to be completed by fall.
