WESTPORT, Conn. – Bottlerocket Wine & Spirit is now open, and just in time to kick off your Independence Day celebrations.
As The Westport Daily Voice reported in May, Bottlerocket is the No. 2 Zagat rated Manhattan wine store. Now Westport residents can enjoy the shop’s special attentions without a trip to the city.
One of the things that sets Bottlerocket apart is the way it’s organized. Wines are displayed by themes and pairings, so it’s simple for shoppers to find wines to serve with everything from fois gras to fennel salad to fig tart.
Bottlerocket also includes a children’s play area on-site, so parents can shop without having to keep an eye trained on curious fingers or bouncing little bodies. The shop will also begin offering classes for customers in the near future.
As for the wine, beer and spirits selection, owner Tom Geniesse told The Westport Daily Voice in May, “The selection at Bottlerocket will appeal to collectors and novice wine lovers alike.”
