Sure, we all scream for ice cream, but would we swim for it? We might, if said ice cream was all aboard the HMS Flake 99, an amphibious ice cream truck that serves cold and creamy treats on London's Thames River.
Built by Cadbury , it's a surf and/or turf-loving vehicle -- complete with the familiar metallic notes of more traditional, land-based ice cream distribution mechanisms.
The vessel was commissioned to honor UK's National Ice Cream week, but it might be making some international trips in the future -- and arriving at a beach near you.
In the mean time, we should put pressure on ice cream geniuses stateside to commission the SS Good Humor . Any guesses as to who would christen it? And with what?
