The vigil will be a chance for community members to come together in solidarity to show "love and support for the victims and their family and friends."
The vigil is planned by Al’s Angels of Westport, which was founded by Al DiGuido, the CEO/founder of New York marketing company Zeta Interactive.
The organization's mission is to provide moments of joy and comfort to families that are challenged by childhood cancer, rare blood diseases, AIDS, domestic violence and financial hardship.
The 8 p.m. vigil will be at Naugatuck Center, 575 Riverside Ave., Westport, Conn.
