May is the worst month for most allergy sufferers in the Norwalk area, according to information from Pollen.com. The website reports May’s annual pollen index averages 9.5 on a scale that extends from 0-12. April’s average pollen index is 8, according to Pollen.com, and August’s average index is 8.1. The average shrinks to 5.1 in June.
