Have a 21st century beauty buff on your list this year? Here’s a few finds to make her (or him!) very merry indeed.

GLO Brilliant Teeth Whitening System—The smile revolution started earlier this year with the launch of the GLO Brilliant system. It looks like an iPod, but it’s actually a high tech system to brighten your smile without sensitivity. Using technology that combines heat, light and a lower concentration of whitening chemicals, the GLO Brilliant system promises a whiter smile in days, with no sensitivity. Better yet? You can buy a second mouth piece, which enables you to share the system. GLO Brilliant is available at Sephora and direct from the maker, GLO Science.

Clarisonic Plus Skin Cleansing Device—There’s a new clean in town, and it’s delivered by Clarisonic. The electronic brush promises to reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles, improve skin tone and clean skin in a new way. Beauty maven Nicky Kinnaird swears by it, which is why it’s one of the bestsellers in her apothecary, Space NK. You can purchase it on Space NK’s website, or in the New Canaan store, located at 36 Elm St.

Flash&Go Permanent Hair Removal Machine—This little tool packs a big beauty punch. It’s an FDA approved device designed to permanently and safely remove hair from the face and body. Using Home Pulsed Light (HPL), Flash&Go delivers hair removal results on par with professional laser treatments after only a few uses. Anyone who waxes, shaves, plucks or threads with any regularity will certainly appreciate it. Flash&Go is available at Sephora.
