WESTON, Conn. — The Easton Fireman's Carnival, farmers' markets, running events and live music are on tap this weekend in Weston, Easton, Redding and nearby towns.

Saturday, Aug. 18

Mark Twain, Author, Humorist and Neighbor: 1-5 p.m.; 6:30-10 p.m. Redding’s tribute to Mark Twain features a scholarly conference during the day at the Mark Twain Library and a dinner at the Redding Roadhouse, with a performance by Twain impersonator Alan Kitty. Weston Farmers’ Market: 9 a.m. – noon. Enjoy local produce, baked goods, family entertainment and more at Weston’s favorite farmers’ market. Weston Historical Society, Route 57 at High Acre Road, Weston.
