“The Show-Off:" 8 p.m. Catch the Westport Country Playhouse production of this funny, surprising and moving story of a family in upheaval when their youngest daughter becomes engaged to a brash loudmouth. Dylan Hockey Memorial Playground Dedication: 11 a.m. The new playground built at Westport's Long Lots School will be formally dedicated to the memory of Sandy Hook victim Dylan Hockley. The ceremony will take place at the playground, located behind the school at 13 Hyde Lane.
"Frost / Nixon:" 8 p.m. This comedic play revolves around British talk-show host David Frost and disgraced former President Richard M. Nixon. Determined to resurrect his career, Frost risks everything on a series of in-depth interviews to extract a public apology from Nixon, who is equally bent on redeeming himself in his nation’s eyes. Both men are desperate to out-talk and upstage each other as the cameras roll. Tickets are $18 to $20 and available online or by calling 203-226-1983. Sunday Symposium: 3 p.m. Murray Biggs, associate professor of English and theater at Yale University will discuss the work and life of playwright George Kelly after the 3 p.m. matinee performance of Kelly's classic comedy, “The Show-Off."
