Friday Family Campfire: 7 to 8:30 p.m. Enjoy sitting by the fire and toasting marshmallows for s'mores with the family. Bring a blanket or folding chair. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Fee is $20 per member family and $25 for non-member families. Earthplace, 10 Woodside Lane.
Saturday, April 13
Dig Into Spring Festival: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Enjoy an afternoon of spring crafts and treats, music from Dan Tressler and String Fingers, a seasonal brunch in the café, and fresh ideas for outdoor living. A variety of special kids activities and workshops will also be available. Free and open to the public. Additional costs will apply for some activities. Terrain, 561 Post Road E.
Creative Kids - Trinidad and Tobago: 2 to 3 p.m. Children can discover the instruments of Trinidad and Tobago and make a steel pan replica. Free with museum admission; ticketed admittance on a first-come, first-served basis. Stepping Stones Museum for Children, Mathews Park, 303 West Ave., Norwalk.
Sunday, April 14
Music at the Westport Library: 2 to 3 p.m. The Westport Library is hosting a free concert featuring violinist Maria Conti and Westport-born harpist Wendy Kerner Lucas. Conti has performed at Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Merkin Concert Hall and Weill Recital Hall in New York City. Lucas, a Juilliard graduate, is the principal harpist for the Ridgefield, Bridgeport, and Norwalk symphonies. Westport Library, McManus Room, 20 Jesup Road.
