Friday, April 5

SOLOS Exhibit Opening Reception: 6 to 8 p.m. Be among the first to see the new SOLOS 2013 exhibit at the Westport Arts Center, which features works from 12 regional artists. Free. Westport Arts Center, 51 Riverside Ave.

"Peter Pan:" Don't miss the Coleytown Middle School production of this class tale. Show runs through Sunday. Other showtimes are at 1 and 7 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $12 and available at the door. Coleytown Middle School, 255 North Ave.

Learn How to Build a Computer: 1 to 2 p.m. Do-it-yourselfers can learn what it takes to make their own computer from 14-year-old Weston resident Jonathan Katz. Free. Westport Library, McManus Room, 20 Jesup Road.

Sunday, April 7

"The Little Engine That Could Earns Her Whistle:" 1 and 4 p.m. This encouraging family-friendly show tells the story of Little Blue Engine, who dreams of someday leaving the train yard to pull the big cars on the main line track. Recommended for kids 4 and up.
