What To Do In Westport This Weekend

Friday, Nov. 23

“The Woman In Black:” 8 p.m. Be among the first to see the Westport Community Theatre’s newest production, “The Woman In Black,” a ghost story that begins on Christmas Eve. Based on the novel of the same name by Susan Hill, "The Woman in Black" tells the macabre tale of London solicitor Arthur Kipps, who travels to a remote part of England to settle the estate of a recently deceased client. The show runs through Dec. 9. Tickets are $18 to $20 and available online or by calling the Box Office at 203-226-1983. Westport Community Theatre, 110 Myrtle Ave. (Westport Town Hall).

Saturday, Nov. 24

Turkey Walk and Talk: 2:30 p.m. Walk the trails at Earthplace and learn about turkeys. You may even spot a wild turkey or two. Participants are encouraged to bring cameras and to dress warmly. Walk is included with the price of admission: free for members; $5 to $7 for nonmembers. Earthplace, 10 Woodside Lane.

Sunday, Nov. 25

Hurricane Sandy Toy Drive: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Westport-based nonprofit Al’s Angels is hosting a Hurricane Sandy toy collection drive. All donated toys will be distributed to children in the tri-state who have been impacted by Hurricane Sandy. New, unwrapped toys can be dropped at 1175 Post Road E., second floor (rear building entrance.) The location will also be open Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
