“Oklahoma!” 7:30 p.m. The Staples Players present Rodgers and Hammerstein’s classic musical "Oklahoma!” Tickets are available for $10 for students and $15 for adults at Staplesplayers.com . Tickets also can be purchased at the door, as available, 30 minutes before the show by cash or check only. Another performance will be held Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, Nov. 17
Electric Car Demonstration: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Test drive and learn more about electric cars in a demonstration at the Westport Train Station. At least four models of electric cars will be featured. Free. Westport Train Station (Railroad Place), eastbound side.
CraftWestport: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Get a start on your holiday shopping at CraftWestport, an annual craft show organized by the Westport Young Woman’s League. More than 160 vendors are participating. The event continues Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $9 for adults, $8 for seniors and free for children 16 and under. Staples High School, 70 North Ave.
Sunday, Nov. 18
Juilliard String Quartet: 3 p.m. See a performance by the world-renowned Juilliard String Quartet. The concert will be emceed by Kate Remington, musical director from WSHU Public Radio. Tickets are $65 and can be purchased by calling the Westport Arts Center at 203-222-7070, online or at the door starting 30 minutes before the concert. Seabury Center, 45 Church Lane.
Screening of “Israel Inside:” 4:30 p.m. The Conservative Synagogue of Westport is screening the film “Israel Inside: How a Small Nation Makes a Big Difference.” It will be followed by a question-and-answer session, and light Middle Eastern fare. Free. The Conservative Synagogue, 30 Hillspoint Road.
