WESTPORT, Conn. – Entertainment is on tap in Westport this weekend as “Saturday Night Live” comedian and impressionist Darrell Hammond comes to town and the Staples Players open their production of "Oklahoma!” To see more event listings, visit our Events page .

Friday, Nov. 9

“Oklahoma!” 7:30 p.m. The Staples Players present Rodgers and Hammerstein’s classic musical "Oklahoma!” This is the first time the show has been staged at Staples since 1995. Tickets are available for $10 for students and $15 for adults at Tickets also can be purchased at the door, as available, 30 minutes before the show (cash or check only). Other performances are Nov. 10, 15, 16 and 17 at 7:30 p.m., and Nov. 11 at 4 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 10

Darrell Hammond: 8:30 p.m. Don’t miss the opportunity to see “Saturday Night Live” comedian and impressionist Darrell Hammond during the fifth annual “Stand Up for Homes With Hope” comedy event. Tickets costing $200 and $150 include a pre-show cocktail hour and hors d'ouvres provided by A Dash of Salt. Show-only tickets are $75. Buy tickets online . The pre-show party begins at 6:30 p.m., and the show begins at 8:30 p.m. All proceeds benefit Homes With Hope, a Westport-based nonprofit that provides supportive housing and programs for the homeless. Solar Homes Tours: 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Take a tour of three solar-powered homes in Westport. David Yarmoff is opening his home at 10 Stone Drive for tours at 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Resident Kevin Green’s home at 35 Gorham Ave. will have tours at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.. The Lewis/Wolfe Home at 7 Otter Trail will be open at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Free. To RSVP for any of these, visit .

Veterans Day Ceremony: 2 p.m. Join the Westport Community Band, the Westport Police Department Honor Guard, members of the Joseph J.
