Restaurant Week: Enjoy lunch or dinner out at one of 18 restaurants offering special prix fixed menus through Friday during Restaurant Week, hosted by the Westport Weston Chamber of Commerce. Each participating restaurant is also collecting canned/non-perishable goods for a food drive benefiting Homes With Hope. Thursday, Oct. 4
Westport Farmers Market: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Its all about supporting the local economy at the Westport Farmers Market. You can find fresh produce, artisan meats and cheeses, freshly baked goods, organic foods, clothing and more. Free admission. Imperial Avenue parking lot.
Upcycle Your Home: 6:30 to 9 p.m. Bring your favorite materials from home to repurpose into different projects during the Upcycle Your Home craft series at Earthplace. This Thursday, participants will make rugs. Class meets every other Thursday through Dec. 19. Cost is $350 ($40 material fee) or $280 ($40 material fee) for Earthplace members.
