Monday, July 29

Summer Fun : 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. A one-week camp features traditional outdoor games, creative activities like painting and sculpting, a unique field trip and opportunities to learn about the animal life of the town’s shore and native woodlands. For children ages 5 to 11. $275 non-members; $250 members. Westport Historical Society , 25 Avery Place.

Westport Historical Society’s New Exhibits: Five Generations of Yankee Ingenuity: The Gault Family and Tracy Sugarman, Citizen-Artist: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. An exhibition of five generations of Yankee families, their toils and struggles and how the businesses have evolved since, in remarkable tandem with the town. Vintage photos, documents, tools and artifacts on display. Free. Westport Historical Society , 25 Avery Place.

Conversations with Women: 7:00 p.m. An evening of cocktails and conversation with a group of like-minded women. Bindlestiff Family Cirkus: 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. It brings its unique hybrid of variety arts - circus, vaudeville, wild west, and sideshow across America. It pays tribute to the rich heritage of European one-ring spectacles and weaves the threads of American popular entertainments into a rich tapestry and a new tradition. The Pre-Show Bindlestiff Cirkus Training Camp for kids safely teaches them circus tricks and secrets like juggling, low-wire, plate-spinning and hula-hoop! $15-$35. Jesup Green, 40 Jesup Road.

Music Concert : The Mill River Band . 7:00 p.m. A unique blend of acoustic rock, blues and western swing.
