Saturday, Oct. 6

Kiwanis Club of Weston breakfast meeting: 8:30 a.m. Norfield Congregational Church, 64 Norfield Road, Weston.

Extreme Paint Ball Trip: 9:45 a.m. to 2 p.m. Kids in grades 6 to 8 can enjoy a day of paint ball fun. Meet at the Easton Community Center at 9:45 a.m., and the van will leave at 10 a.m. It return to the ECC at 2 p.m. Easton Community Center, 364 Sport Hill Road, Easton.

St. Francis of Assisi Carnival: Noon to 6 p.m. The second annual carnival starts with a blessing of the animals and continues with inflatable rides, games and delicious food. 35 Norfield Road, Weston.

Ridgefield Pamby Motors Half Marathon: 8:30 a.m. The 36th annual Ridgefield Half Marathon starts in the parking lot by Yanity Gym. 80 E. Ridge Road, Ridgefield.

Georgetown Farmers Market: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A friendly place where local farmers and producers have been bringing their best to the village of Georgetown since 1998. 4 Old Mill Road, Redding.
