Friday, Dec. 21

Eco-Friendly Holiday Pop Up Market: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Have last minute holiday shopping to do? Stop by this special holiday pop up market, featuring a group of local vendors selling holistic living, organic, locally crafted and Fair Trade items. Akram, 9 Sconset Square.The market's last day is Saturday. 

Free Gift Wrapping: 2 to 6 p.m. Get your holiday gifts wrapped for free at Barnes & Noble by volunteers from the Westport Historical Society. Donations are appreciated and will be used to support education programs at the Historical Society. Barnes & Noble, 1076 Post Road E.

Solace in Solstice: 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. The Connecticut Challenge Center for Survivorship and M3 Yoga are hosting a benefit for cancer survivors. The event will consist of a yoga program from 7 to 8:30, followed by a wine and chocolate reception from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. All proceeds support the CT Challenge's Bridgeport Outreach Program for women living with cancer. The cost is $35 in advance or $45 that day. Center for Survivorship, 250 Pequot Ave., Southport.

Saturday, Dec. 22

Winter Farmers Market: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Shop for locally grown and organic fruits and vegetables, foods and a variety of other items from local vendors. Gilberties, 7 Sylvan Lane.

Gardens In Globes Workshop: 2 to 4 p.m. Learn how to create a miniature living world inside a glass vessel to hang from the Christmas tree during this workshop at Terrain. Reservations are required. $20 per person. Cost includes instruction, soil, embellishments, and use of tools. Terrain, 561 Post Road E.

Critter Encounters: 2:30 p.m. Meet some of the Earthplace animals, take a trail walk to see what critters you encounter or make a craft to bring home. Included with the cost of admission: free to members; $5 to $7 nonmembers. Earthplace, 10 Woodside Lane.

Sunday, Dec. 23

Ice Skating at Longshore: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Enjoy a day out on the ice with family and friends at the Westport Police Athletic League ice rink at Longshore Club Park. Prices vary. Longshore Club Park, 60 Compo Road S. See full weekend schedule online.
