Food and Art at the Met: 10:30 a.m. Join other local art enthusiasts for an in-depth tour of masterpieces in the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s permanent collection and an exploration of the rituals, customs and symbolism of food in art. Tour includes an optional lunch followed by access to the “Regarding Warhol: Sixty Artists, Fifty Years” exhibition. Cost is $75 per tour or $60 per tour for Westport Arts Center members. “A Raisin in the Sun:” 8 p.m. See the Westport Country Playhouse production of “A Raisin in the Sun” by Lorraine Hansberry. Directed by Tony Award-winner Phylicia Rashad, the play tells the story of a black family in 1950s Southside Chicago and their quest for a piece of the American Dream. Runs through Nov. 3.
