What To Do In Westport This Week

Monday, Feb. 25

Storytelling Yoga: 1 p.m. Parents and children together can enjoy a short story while participating in yoga-based movement. Free. Steeping Stones Museum, Mathews Park, 303 West Ave., Norwalk. 

Tuesday, Feb. 26

"Jobseekers" Program: 10 a.m. to noon. Gain an advantage in your job search by learning how to identify your key companies, spot industry trends and get in-depth background information for greater success in networking and interviewing. Free. Westport Public Library, 20 Jesup Road. 

Wednesday, Feb. 27

Macaroni Kid Baby Brunch: 10:30 a.m. to noon. Local moms with kids 3 and younger are invited to try out new baby products from Dr. Smith's, Happy Family Baby Food, Bebek Bottles & Sippy Cups, ExerSaucer and Kolcraft. Participants will also have the chance to take products home. Participants must register online and should be Macaroni Kid subscribers. Event location and other details will be sent to participants via email.

Bayberry Lane/Route 136 Intersection Public Information Meeting: 7 p.m. Hear about potential improvements to the intersection of Bayberry Lane and State Route 136, Easton Road. Westport Town Hall, Room 201, 110 Myrtle Ave. 

Thursday, Feb. 28

Planting a Dish Garden: 6 to 8 p.m. Learn how to cultivate a miniature garden in a dish. Cost is $20; reservations required. Cost includes soil, charcoal, rocks, embellishments and instruction. Vessels and plants will be available for purchase. Terrain, 561 Post Road E.
