WESTPORT, Conn. -- Lawyer Gail Berritt will speak about legal issues for small businesses on Tuesday, Sept. 8, at 10 a.m., in the Westport Library’s McManus Room.
The program is free and open to women with diverse business interests. The discussion will include ways to minimize risk and increase value, and will include forming a limited liability or other legal entity, protecting intellectual property and obtaining contracts from service providers.
For more than 25 years, Berritt has helped companies grow their businesses. She spent many years with large national firms before opening her own law practice in Westport.
